INFORMATION ABOUT
OUR PACKAGING

Our packaging should impact the world as little as possible.

That’s why we reuse our packaging to wrap up your orders. It might look less snazzy, but it’s what’s inside that counts. On the rare occasion that we do buy new packaging, we look for recycled materials and avoid plastic where we can. Here’s how to reuse or recycle the packaging from your Studio Janneke order:

Cardboard / paper

Boxes, corrugated cardboard and anything made of paper (including paper tape) can go straight into your recycling bin. Green bonus points if you remove the plastic packaging tape as well.

Bubble wrap

We only reuse what happens to come into the studio, so it might look a little less plump and perky. Reuse it again or hand it in for recycling along with your carrier bags at the supermarket.

Wool liners

Originally used as insulating food packaging. Recyclable, compostable and reusable as pet bedding, stuffing or to protect crops from snails or cold. Remove and recycle the plastic / paper sleeve first.

Packing peanuts

This Eco Flo void fill can be reused, recycled, composted and even dissolved in water. They are made from GM free starch, which is where that delicious whiff of fresh chips is coming from.
